Come join author of “What Does It Take To Be A Star”, Rennie Curran and his celebrity friends; former athlete/authors Ovie Mughelli – “Comic Book Gridiron Green”, Stevie Baggs – “Greater Than The Game”, and Johnny Rutledge - Math and Football to celebrate the book launch and signing of “What Does It Take To Be A Star”. The fun filled, family friendly evening, will honor the achievements of children across the Metro-Atlanta community, along with face painting, balloon artist, music, food, drinks and much more.
Fox 5 –Atlanta Sports Reporter Justin Felder and Radio Personality Wynter Avery, will host “A Night With The Stars” on Thursday, August 3, 2017. This exciting event is held at the Center For Puppetry Arts 1404 Spring St NW Atlanta, GA 30309. Red carpet and book signing with Rennie Curran and celebrities will being at 6pm.
"This event will be a chance to inspire and empower children across the Atlanta community while having some fun before they return to school. The message of this book reinforce that every child is special and destined for greatness. "What Does It Take To A Star" teaches the work ethic, self-control, patience, citizenship, leadership and many other values that are important for a child’s development. When writing this book and hosting this event is even more purposeful to me because, I can teach Elleana, my daughter how she can use her platform to have a positive influence on others. I also want to showcase other athletes who are using their platforms for inspire others says, Rennie Curran."
A portion of the proceeds from the “A Night With The Stars” will support non-profit organizations; The Larry Asante Foundation to help strengthen their missions.
